The tyres on your car are the only part of your vehicle that makes contact with the surface below and is a very important aspect of your vehicle. The tyres are in charge of gripping the roads surface so that the car is stable and can turn around corners at certain speeds. It is just one of the many parts that ensure your vehicle gives the passenger a smooth ride.

There are a few checks that you can do to ensure your vehicle is safe on the road and in slippery or wet conditions can grip the surface well:

• Depth of tyre tread
• Tyre pressure
• Checking Tread for stones or other foreign bodies
• Tyre valves tightened
• General condition of tyre (Wear and tear, baldness of tyre)
